Manuscript Summary: Exegetical-liturgical collection of works, probably produced around 810/820 in the Cloister of St. Amand in the area of Lille in northern France. It contains, among other items, a commentary on the Gospels by Pseudo-Hieronymus (illustrated with Irish-influenced symbolic representations of the four evangelists), texts by the early church fathers Augustine, Isidore of Seville, the Venerable Bede, a letter from Charlemagne to Alcuin, a baptismal ritual attributed to Bishop Jesse of Amiens († 836/37), and finally an abridged version of the Annals of St. Gall.
