Diplomatarium Wettingense

A comprehensive collection of the most important legal records and documents of Wettingen Abbey, written by Peter Numagen in about 1490. The table of contents and prologue are followed by legendary accounts of the abbey's founding and copies of the papal, imperial and regal grants of privilege. It also contains the grant of privilege of the order and copies of records of assorted legal transactions related to ownership of real property.
