Manuscript Summary: | Manuscript Summary The Urbarium of Salerno from the end of the twelfth century records the land holdings of and duties owed to the church of Salerno. Today only 31 unbound leaves remain of the originally larger codex executed in Beneventan minuscule. The urbarium is for the most part a palimpsest: a tenth-century codex of the Etymologiae of Isidore of Seville copied in Beneventan minuscule. |
